Oral Health Education Scholarship 

OHE Scholarship Terms and Conditions.

1. The submission closing date for applications is midnight on 17^th September 2021.
2. SmileWisdom will shortlist all applicants based on the required criteria. Oral Health Education tutor, Victoria Wilson, will then select a successful applicant based on the selection criteria. For the selection criteria, please see below.
3. The winner will be announced on 20^th September 2021and contacted via email and phone.
4. The successful applicant must be available to start the scholarship on 25^th September 2021, 10am-1pm and thereafter once a month for 6 months. Full details of the course start date can be found here. Details of the monthly course dates will be emailed prior to the course start date. Course dates are as follows, 25^th September 2021, 16^th October 2021, 20^th November 2021, 11^th December 2021, 22^nd January 2022, 19^th February 2022.
5. The successful applicant must accept the scholarship by the given deadline of 22^nd September 2021. SmileWisdom reserves the right to withdraw the offer of a scholarship if it is not accepted by the given deadline.
6. Applicants must be GDC registered, qualified dental nurses.
7. Applicants must be based in the UK and currently working as a dental nurse.
8. Applicants must be willing to participate in any promotion of the scholarship, should they be successful in securing the scholarship. This includes but is not limited to, completing a blog post and writing a review/testimonial of the scholarship course. In addition, the successful applicant agrees to authorising SmileWisdom the use of their name and likeness in photographic, digital, electronic or any other medium for any purpose that SmileWisdom deems appropriate including promotional or advertising efforts without compensation or additional consideration.
9. If the successful applicant does not complete the course, starting 25^th September 2021, they will not be entitled to defer their place to a later intake or another course.
10. There is no cash value in exchange for the scholarship.
11. The scholarship relates specifically to the NEBDN Certificate in Oral Health Education and is not transferrable to any other course.
12. SmileWisdom will cover the cost of the successful applicant’s first attempt at the end of course exam. This fee will include the eRecord of Competence.
13. Access to the internet and a laptop or mobile phone, in order to complete the online course, is the responsibility of the applicant.

15. This scholarship is only open to new candidates who are not currently enrolled on the course.
